The Picture
There is a picture on the wallBigger than the wallThere is a beggar in the crowdMore numerous than the crowdThere is a spark within the fireMore important than the fireThere is a window to the worldMore beautiful than the worldThere is a green on the grassGreener than the greenThere is a shadow in the darkMore conspicuous than the darkThere is a thrill in the nightMore mysterious than the nightThere is a light in the dayMore pristine than the dayThere is a tear in my eyeMore eloquent than my eyesThere is a muffle in my laughMore a muffle than a laughThere is a spring in my stepMinus a spring, only a motionThere is a winner at the endBut all is redundant then.

There is one Ravi Bansal
More enigmatic than rest!!
"There is a spark within the fire
More important than the fire"
loved this particular verse - the spark is that is important, bcoz fire consumes, spark ignites
Gut member, this piece of writing is too good to be commented on. I love the end. Just perfect.
Accha, where did you pick this rhyme meter up from. Haven't come across it before.
There is one Gaurav,
Better than the best!
But anyways - "dil khush kar ditta puttar"
Loved your poetic side. LOVE changes one and all :)
To me it appears to be a warning against glossing over the smaller but very important things and individuals in the blind scramble to understand and make general sense of the world, with a tinge of pain thrown in.
Lovely dost, long time coming
@ Ashwini
Thanx dost.
@ Vikas
That's a real nice one for a self-obsessed person like me.
@ Virapandy
Yes, and I believe the spark can never be extinguished, only the fire can.
@ Jack
